ENPICOM has acquired a license from VU University Amsterdam to use ConBind, a computational biology method that can be used for the identification of novel genetic markers for trait selection.

By acquiring this license, ENPICOM is entitled to use this method to develop commercial applications, for example, in trait selection for plant and animal breeding. These applications will help producing more food in a more sustainable way.

A preview version of ConBind is currently publicly accessible at www.conbind.org.

You can read the announcement also on the Innovation eXchange Amsterdam newsletter.
